The app uses a combination of your mobile device's GPS and downloaded topo maps to guide you along various British walking trails. After the initial setup, NO MOBILE OR INTERNET SERVICE IS REQUIRED for the app to be fully functional. Each trail guide (available as in-app purchases) includes a detailed track, hundreds of points of interest, hundreds of photos, an elevation profile, and convenient references to the applicable guide book. The types of points of interest include: ** Villages, towns and cities near the trail ** Camping areas ** Car parks ** Navigational waypoints, such as roads, junctions, gates, stiles, bridges ** Parks and other nature areas ** Information regarding services in towns, such as food and accommodation availability **Train stations and bus stops **Notable views Currently available guides, as in-app purchases: ** South Downs Way ** West Highland Way Coming soon: ** The Ridgeway ** North Downs Way ** Cape Wrath Trail About Trailblazer Guides: We publish more than 40 travel guides.
